10 Things About Me

Quick Q and A to help you get to know me.

How long have you been working as a PA? I’ve been a PA for 15 years now.

Best bit about work?  I love the variety of my job.  I love taking the stress away and seeing people more on top of their workload.

What qualities does a good PA need? Patience, the ability to stay calm and collected, be very organised, unflappable and know how to get things done.

Nicest thing a client has said? ‘You are my office angel – I don’t know how I’d cope without you.’

What’s the strangest thing a client has asked you to do? Most unusual thing is finding out Formula 1 results for a client who couldn’t get the news while he was on holiday!

What are the biggest problems facing small businesses? Red tape – all that admin and paperwork.  Being pulled in all directions, having to cope with a variety of tasks and dealing with multiple roles.

Who do you enjoy working with most?  I love working with energetic, passionate people.

Favourite place in the world?  Somewhere peaceful, sun shining, stunning views, no one else around.  Top of a mountain, maybe, away from the hustle and bustle, but saying that I love the excitement and buzz of city life too.

What would you do with an extra 3 hours a day?  Surprisingly I am not pushed for time in my life – so with 3 extra hours I would spoil myself rotten, be with friends and family.  This is what I want my clients to achieve.  So many are working 6 and 7 days a week.  I want them to put the work/life balance back in their life.

Describe yourself in 3 words.  Professional, dedicated, fun.
